Snapdeal.com — Not honouring the commitment to delivery product | |||
This is to inform you that I placed an order on www.snapdeal.com on 20th January, 2015 vide order No.[protected] for Micromax 40T2820FHD 101.6 cm (40) Full HD LED Television. On 22nd January, 2015 I received an SMS stating that the order has been cancelled. I spoke to their customer care team and they informed me that a wrong price was uploaded on the website, hence this order has been cancelled by them and now the product is available at a higher price and I need to buy at the prevailing price. I also informed that many times it has happed that a customer purchases a product and very next day the price of the products are decreed even before the delivery takes place, in such cases they do not compensate to the customers with a reason that whatever prices is prevailing at the time of purchase shall be applicable. On this day Flipkart was also running lucrative schemes and Snapdeal with malafide intentions announced this scheme that customer should place order on Snapdeal and their intentions were that later they will cancel the order and customer will left with no choice but to buy on higher price. They were so rude and informed that I can take any legal action as a customer against their company. A copy of the screen shot displaying the product on their website and confirming the order is attached herewith for your kind perusal. I also sent an email giving all the above details to them and they have responded that “Due to unavoidable circumstances order has been cancelled and they have requested to place a new order with them”.
