[Resolved]  Snapdeal.com — reimbursement of return courier charges not done after nearly a month

Product: karcher wd3 vaccum cleaner.
Issue: damaged product received twice. Returned the product with courier charges paid by me as instructed by snapdeal. They promised reimbursement and i am not getting proper response for the same. The replaced product is still damaged. Customer care is a robot and i think no real person answers the phone. (No options to speak with customer care executive.) worst customer care.
The product i received was a karcher wd3 vaccum cleaner. It was received as a damaged one and i had raised a return request and i was told to pack the item and send the item to their warehouse as they were unable to pickup my item. I paid for the return charges and they sent a replacement which was also damaged. Initially i was thinking of keeping it since i didnt want to go through the painful return process. But they keep ignoring my requests for reimbursement for the return courier. I have an email from them stating that they would reimburse even rs.1600 as courier charges as the initial quotes i got was high. I am still following up to get the money reimbursed and i havent received any proper response from them yet. All i got was a reply stating that they will get back when they have a solution for this reimbursement. I still dont understand what kind of solution they are talking about. They already stated that they would need courier receipt and my account details for reimbursing the amount. I have sent them the details. I still dont understand what kind of solution they are working on when they gave a solution to me already.
Worst of all their customer care number is crap and virtually non existant. It is just a collection of ivr options which is so stupidly limited that they give you some 2 options and you have to choose from them for an issue. You will not find any "other" option which would connect to their customer care person. This is really illogical. How can you serve the customer when you dont even know the what issue he has and you have some stupid predefined options. I am really unhappy about this and i am even thinking of sueing them for this.
Which customer care is this bad, there was a crap company timtara.com which cheated customers till the end and which got closed down after lots of customers sued the company for their negligence.
My recent experiences with snapdeal has been very bad. Sometime back i had ordered car tyres with an offer and i ordered them online only because i got the offer. The order status was updated as packed by seller and awaiting for courier pickup. How can this order be cancelled? It does not make any sense. They simply update the order status as they wish. They had my money for nearly two weeks and finally cancelled the order. I had to pick up tyres from a outlet as it was already delayed for me.

I got a call on the same day i made this request. Not sure if it was because of this. While i understand that the complaint is being worked on by your team. I was told in the call that the compliant would be rectified in 48 hours. It is the 4th day from the filing of this compliant and still i havent got any intimation of reimbursement for the return. I also have the replacement product damaged and i am again asked to return the product with courier charges being reimbursed later. How can I now trust you that the charges would be reimbursed? I have sent a separate email to [protected]@Snapdeal.com stating that i would not return the replacement product with courier charges paid by me and again waiting for the reimbursement of the return courier charges. This is really putting strain and stress on me. I have paid the product with a HSBC Credit card through EMI since i got a good offer. Now I have already been billed the first month emi and i would not be getting the interest i have paid too. This is not a good customer experience.

I also know that once i dont send the product within your replacement days. You would simply cancel the replacement request stating that the product is not returned within the specified days. Just imagine the amount of crap the customer has to go through just because ohe shopped with you.
In the call i was promised that you guys would change my mind about your customer care experience. I guess i was right. I am never ever shopping in Snapdeal again.
