[Resolved] Snapdeal.com — Worst service ever! | |||
I had ordered an IFB washing machine and an LG fridge through this portal on 20th April 2014. Status on IFB Washing Machine: Their courier vendor partner's (GATI) representative tells me that he needs 1 guy to help him with the logistics! Remind me again, but isn't that exactly your job profile? After much deliberation he decides to deliver the product and calls back in an hour that he will need to take the shipment back as octroi has not been paid on it. Is it my responsibility to ensure I get a hassle free smooth delivery? I call up the Snapdeal helpline, and their representative tells me to pay the octroi and they will refund it, but refuses to give me the same in writing. All I am given is a complaint number which has no details to it. Going by the no refund complaints in this forum, I am wondering if I should fall into this trap! Status on the LG Fridge: Its out of stock! Laughable!!! Why have a big high value transaction posting on your portal when you have no head or tail of the inventory??? Fingers crossed on the refund..This entire portal seems like a big ponzi scheme.. Working with other portals was so much smoother! I will just stick to the brick and mortar stores for heavy appliances! Few bucks extra but at least hassle free! Was this information helpful? | |||
