Dear sir,
I own a flat no. 2175 ( through my son), in Sobha Garrison. I took over the flat in 2014. From 2017 onwards I found wetness of one external wall after rains. It became very prominent in 2018 and requested Sobha to repair it.
After long discussions Sobha kindly agreed to repair it under guarantee and the leaking joint between the top beam and the wall was filled with waterproof cement. But in 2021, after the rains, the same wall became wet and water is seeping through.
I contacted the GM again ( Mr Balaji) but this time he said he is helpless and all that he can do is to suggest a contractor to do it.I had no choice but to agree as I could not leave the flat unusable, , but I thought the cost of repair through Sobha contractor will be affordable.( say not more than rs, 25000)
The Sobha contractor has now quoted rs.68000 plus 28%, which is far above what I thought I could spend.( repainting of damaged inner side not included)
Can I request Sobha to kindly review their stand that it is not Sobha’s responsibility to repair this structural defect that existed from beginning and that an unsatisfactory guarantee repair is no more under guarantee. Can you please help me to get the flat which I bought from you liveable and avoid this exhorbitant cost from my side. .
Sobha has such high reputation and I have so much faith in Sobha that I am sure you will not let me down . Could you please look into the matter and give a favourable decision
