SOTC — No refund. No response
Attended London plus Europe trip started on 14th April 2023 and ended on 3rd May, 2023.
Lots of complain about SOTC India staff. Following are a few of them:-
1. Asked for Final bill showing GST and TCS amount. so far sent 5 WhatsApp message to Mr Jaffer Choudhary on different dates and also 5 emails to Jaffer Choudhary, Rinku Rani, Aliakbar Jetpurwala, Sarthak Bulsara, Ravi Vaidya and Aseem Bisht but NO ONE CARED TO ACKNOWLEDGE OR RESPOND TO MY COMMUNICATION.
2. SOTC charged Euro rate @92 against prevailing rate @89 and also charged for VISA charges and Medical insurance . While booking itself and before fixing appointment, this fact was reiterated but still bill submitted for payment has charges for all this and GST/TCS on same. I was told that till you don't pay full amount, your flight ticket detail will not be shared . After return, no one is answering the phone calls, WhatsApp or email.
3. While booking and later on, on four different dates I reminded Mr Jaffer / Mr Sarthak about my special day i.e. wedding day and requested them to make special arrangements for same ( at my cost ) but sadly they didn't bother to inform tour manager ( Mr Amit Kulkarni, an excellent person working in wrong company ). As a consequence, even a small cake/pastri was also not arranged. This is my first wedding anniversary wherein we could not cut cake or do party or enjoy. All thanks to those two useless persons Mr Jaffer and Mr Sarthak.
4. Literally follow up with Ms. Bhumika Gupta and her boss Ravi for VISA appointments. We were travelling in April and somehow Bhumika kept on responding why are we hurrying as we are travelling in May. In spite of reminding her 5 times about our travel dates, every time she replied same thing that we have to travel in May. Ultimately I have taken VIsa on my own and they still charged me for same in Bill.
List is long and frustrating and still NO RESPONSE / NO BILL / NO REFUND .
AVOID SOTC / THOMAS COOK or repent like us.
