[Resolved] South Indian Bank — S/B A/C [protected] Failure of Internet Banking Transfer of Rs 10,000/- But S/B a/c debited | |||
I, Sharmila Guha have a Savings Bank a/c no [protected] with South Indian Bank Salt Lake Branch Kolkata-700064.The S/B is held Jointly with my husband Mr Siva Prasad Guha. Yesterday i.e 09/05/2014 at about 12.18PM and 12.25PM I made 2 (TWO) transfers of Rs 10, 000/-- each to Tech Process Solutions Pvt Ltd, for Online purchase of Mutual Fund Units from HDFC Asset Management Company (HDFC AMC). The Second transfer amount of Rs10, 000/-- for purchase o[censored]nits of HDFC Cash Management Fund - Treasury Advantage Plan - Direct Plan - Retail Plan --was duly completed and acknowledged by HDFC AMC . However the First Transfer amount of Rs10000/-- to Tech Process Solutions Pvt Ltd for purchase of HDFC Corporate Debt Opportunities Fund units failed due to a technical problem during the transfer process but was nevertheless Debited to my Savings Account. by South Indian Bank HDFC AMC did not receive the amount of Rs 10, 000'-- and did not acknowledge receipt. Though I waited the entire day South Indian Bank did not Credit the Failed Online Transfer Amount of Rs 10, 000/-- . This is unfortunate as most professionally managed banks restore such erroneously debited amount in their End of Day run.
