Southern Railway — Delay in receiving ticket | |||
I was travelling from ambalapuzha to trivandrum on[protected] in intercity express. The train arrives at 6:45. I came at 6:15 at the station. At that time ernad express was waiting at the station for clearance. I was the first person in the queue. The lady at the ticket counter on the same day was not ready to issue ticket to trivandrum since ernad express was at the station. I was ok and i waited till all passengers for ernad express was gone. After all of them was gone she has given ticket to a senior citizen just standing behind me. I have no complaints about giving ticket to that senior person. She printed two tickets and given one ticket to the senior citizen and with with the other ticket she lifted from her seat and was checking something at the almirah. She kept me waiting for another 5 minutes and she returned. To my surprise after returning to the seat she has given the same ticket which she was printed 5 minutes ago. I feel extremely unhappy at that point. No other railway ticket seemed this much unsatisfactory for me. So i thought i will report this. Similar condition occurred from the same lady at the ticket counter about two months ago. It was a sunday, i was travelling from ambalapuzha to trivandrum at 5:40 pm. I reached at 5:40 at the station. Train was waiting at the station for clearance. I requested the same lady for ticket. But she was not ready to give me the ticket. To my surprise she told me that she was not sure whether train is at tge station or not. But i can be able to see train at the station. I keep on begging for ticket and that gone around for 3 minutes and the train was ready to get going. After horn of the train was blown she is ready to give me a ticket. I don't know what is the problem with the lady. The person is at duty on[protected] morning on ambalapuzha station. I am hoping that similar conditions will not repeat again.
