Southern Railway — Gudiyatham station - erring/careless/lazy employees. | |||
Respected sir, We find a great improvement in indian railways and sincerely thank you for all the initiatives taken by you. I travel frequently between bangalore and gudiyattam by train no 17210 On nov 7th i had booked to travel in 2tier a/c, i call up the railway station no[protected] at 7.30am and they always confirm (Without checking) that the train is on time, but the train actually arrived at 8.50iam i. E. 35 minute late. Pnr [protected] - gudiyattam to bangalore 2 tier ac nov 11th. I call up the station at 7.45am and the staff was not able to confirm the arrival time in gudiyattam, he instead asked me to call up after 8.00 am!!! But when i called at 8.03 am the staff informed me that the train left katpadi at 7.55am and is arriving in gudiyattam at 8.15 am. I was not able to reach the station by then i missed the train. I then had to go by road transport to ambur and take double decker train no 22625 to bangalore by paying rs 340.00. I had to go thru all the hardship and bear additional costs due to carelessness of the station - in-charge. I have complained several times but it appears that railways do not wish to take action against erring/careless/lazy employees.
