Spice Jet Airlines — Flight fly pre schedule, I am on time but denyed for onboarding

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding denial of boarding on my confirmed SpiceJet flight due to miscommunication and failure on the airline’s part.

I had a confirmed booking on Flight SG170 (Patna to Delhi) dated 28 December 2025. The flight timing was later changed by the airline. However, the airport display board continued to show the flight timing as per my ticket, and I reported at the airport well within time based on the official airport display and ticket information.

Despite reporting on time and complying with all procedures, I was not allowed to board the flight. No proper assistance or alternate arrangement was provided at the airport.

Due to this incident:

- I missed an important office meeting
- I suffered loss of a professional opportunity
- I faced significant mental stress, inconvenience, and financial loss

It is unreasonable and unacceptable to penalize a passenger when flight timings are changed by the airline but are not correctly updated or communicated through official airport display systems. Passengers are entitled to rely on airport display information.

This clearly constitutes deficiency in service and failure to inform, making the airline solely responsible for the inconvenience caused.

I hereby request:

1. Full refund of the ticket amount, and
2. Appropriate compensation for denied boarding, inconvenience, and loss of opportunity.

If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily within a reasonable time, I will escalate the issue to the DGCA AirSewa portal and other consumer grievance forums.
