Standard Chartered Bank — customer care number is charging rupees 49+gst to provide customer care | |
Akshata s., an employee of standard chartered bank customer care, was asking me to pay rupees 49+gst for every single detail i wanted to know about my own account, i understood that she wasn't supposed to share the details according to rules set by standard chartered for phone banking. Since i wasn't aware of the exact place to check all details in online banking, so she explained where to get the details. I did not understand it for the first time, as she explained it too fast for me to see. When asked to repeat once, she said she already repeated 3-4 times and did not want to repeat again. But when the call was still on she abused me saying "ho ga le, yaar yaaro bartaare" which means "get lost, no idea what kind of people call" in kannada.. I understand the customer care is not meant to insult anyone but help their customer. Pathetic behaviour by standard chartered. Was this information helpful? | |
