Star Health And Allied Insurance — does not process claim with honesty | |
Ever worst experience with star health insurance not will to pay claim honestly. For processing claim id -0101533, room rent eligibility is calculated by adding (Room rent +room rent nursing chagres +ot nursing charges + hc nursing charges) instead of (Room rent +room rent nursing charges) even after submitting the hospital charges letter. More worst then this when contacted customer care, he was trying to say this was group insurance policy & you did not pay huge amount then why fighting for claim (I can provide conversation recording of same). Request all user who read this. Pls. Be away from this company & think tons of time before taking policy because you are not going to get actual amount for which you are eligible instead you would be given wrong policy reference or made you fool by rounding words.. Hi, Even if the policy is group basic policy there is a 80% of claim amount on total bill or up to covered amount. Pl verify terms & conditions of policy document, where in all charges payable are avialable, so that you can aware what you can claim & if there is still difference in claim amount, then insist the insurer to settle the claim according to terms & conditions of policy. Insurer cannot say not to insist claim because of you are having group policy.
