I am writing to formally escalate an urgent concern regarding the rejection of our insurance claim (Claim No: 0422041) under the Star Health Insurance policy.

For the past two years, we have been consistently paying the insurance premium without any lapse to ensure medical coverage for my parents. Based on this coverage, we have scheduled a cardiac surgery for my father on 16 June 2026 at a hospital in Tiruchirappalli, and the claim was submitted through the hospital team using the portal on 12 June 2026.
However, the claim has been rejected twice with inconsistent and unclear reasons:
a) First rejection: Citing unclear supporting documents
b) Second rejection: Stating non-payment of premium, despite full premium payment for the last two years(i.e. after the waiting period)
We have attempted to contact customer care multiple times (over 10 calls), but unfortunately, we have not received any proper response or clarification. Calls are frequently placed on hold without resolution.
Given the critical nature of the situation and the scheduled surgery tomorrow, we request your immediate intervention to:
* Review and re-consider the claim on priority
* Verify premium payment records from your end
* Provide a clear explanation for rejection
* Approve the claim or facilitate urgent resolution
This delay and lack of response during such a critical medical emergency is deeply concerning and causing significant distress. We request you to treat this matter as urgent and provide a resolution at the earliest to avoid further complications. Since we are resident o[censored]AE, we are not able to handle this situation for my parents residing in India.
