State Bank Of India [SBI] — Complaint Regarding Unauthorized Debit Card Transaction October 2025

Dear Team,
I am writing to formally report an unauthorized transaction that occurred in my SBI bank account in October 2025. An amount was debited from my account without my knowledge or consent through a debit card transaction.
I would like to clearly state that I did not share my debit card details, PIN, or OTP with anyone. I am unable to understand how the transaction was processed without my authorization or OTP verification.
The fraudulent transaction was used to place a food order through Swiggy. I possess the Swiggy payment receipt and the delivery details, including the address of the individual who benefited from this unauthorized transaction. I am prepared to submit these documents as supporting evidence.
I have already raised this issue twice with SBI, but I have not received any proper response or resolution. I also filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Department; however, the complaint was closed without satisfactory clarification.
Since the matter remains unresolved, I am now formally lodging this complaint through the Government of India portal and requesting:
A thorough investigation into the unauthorized debit card transaction.
Immediate action against the person who misused my account.
Reversal/refund of the fraudulently debited amount.
A written explanation regarding how the transaction was processed without OTP authentication.
I request urgent attention to this matter and appropriate legal action at the earliest.
