A demat account was opened by SBICAP Securities Ltd when I opened my SBI savings account. At the time of opening, I was not clearly informed about the Annual Maintenance Charges (AMC) of ₹590 per year.

I have never used this demat account — no trades, no holdings — but ₹1180 was deducted from my bank account (₹590 each for two years) on 01/07/2025.

When I contacted customer support, they said the charges were as per the signed form. However, the bank representative never explained the AMC. This feels like mis-selling and a hidden deduction, which is happening to many customers across India.

I request a refund of these charges and demand that such unethical practices be stopped.

I am raising this issue publicly so others can be aware and protected.

    I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding a refund that has not been credited to my bank account.

    I purchased a Microtek AC Stabilizer worth ₹4, 030 from Amazon.

    I returned the product, and the refund was initiated by Amazon on 26th May 2025.

    My name is Amit Dey and i had ordered Windows mosquito net 2 pc of rupees 1378.0 /- in Amazon on 01/03/2025 and return this order on 18/03/2025 due to personal reason.       On dated 28/03/2025, an automatic mode an amount of Rs 97840/- has been deducted with transction details as "ACHDr ICIC[protected] TP ACH SLI ".
      I am unabke to trace the details of transaction automatically happen. Branch also not able to extend any help in this regard.
      Needful must be done to protect my transction in auto debit mode happend and made neccessary for recovery of my hard earned money.

        I am being repeatedly charged ECS/ACH return fees by SBI without proper explanation or prior notification. The charges are linked to the same reference number 38976288 and description "WhizDM F NACH FAIL INSUF BAL SBIN702".

        Here are the deductions:

        ₹7.06 on 05-Mar-2025

        ₹254.46 on 05-Apr-2025

        ₹295.00 on 09-Apr-2025

        All related to mandate reference[protected] / 38976288, but the same transaction seems to be failed and charged multiple times. This is both unreasonable and unfair.

        No prior SMS, email, or alert was given before debiting these charges. I believe this constitutes a deficiency in service and possible malpractice in recurring ECS mandates.

        I request the forum to:

        Help me get a refund of ₹556.52

        Stop these deductions in the future

          I have taken pension loan in SBI. Last month, the tenure of loan is completed leaving with a balance of 1448.12. I tried paying complete amount and close the account but the system did not allow to pay complete amount and as a result, I paid 1447 and for remaining 1.12 rupees, I logged a manual closure request by checking the option to debit the remaining amount from my savings account through net banking. However, they did not close the loan account and in return charged 6 rupees interest and held an amount of 9600 in this month. I again paid 6 rupees and repeated the process that I done for manual closure (as again the system is not allowing to pay full balance). I don't understand why SBI people will not take prompt actions and with hold our money and again charge interest for no reason. SBI needs to improve their services a lot. Its been 3 days since I raised manual closure action and the action is not taken yet.

            I am an Sbi account holder. Yesterday I did a self transaction of 1400 RS from my Sbi account to my HDFC account through google pay. After that today that amount got hold in my HDFC account and my SBI account got negative 1399 RS. When I inquired at Home Branch, there was no response. Please find a solution

                    My name is Shobha Bisht and I had ordered total 3 items of total ₹908.83 in Amazon on 18 December 2024, and after 19 December 2024 returned this order due to personal reason. And on 19 December 2024, Amazon initiated the amount to my card but I still didn't get the money.                       I am holder of SBI Credit card and fraud happened with me in month of Oct-24 dt[protected].for Rs.60565.88
                      I have received total amount from insurance company and I am ready to pay outstanding of SBI Credit card. SBI credit card section has charged Interest and penalty towards non-payment of outstanding.
                      I am requesting for waver penalty and interest because this transaction is not belonging to me and it was happened through fraud hence there were no mistake from my side insurance company took 2 months for the process of refund. There is no mistake from my end.

                      RESPECTED SIR,

                      A fraudulent transaction of Rs.60565.88 was made on my SBI credit on 24.10.2024. I had duly lodged a complaint with you regarding that. One thing to note is that when I started the credit card service from you, I was given a credit card protection policy by you. I had made the payment to you. You can see my previous credit card statement I used to make regular payments before I got into credit card fraud.

                      You can see all my e-mails after 24.10.2024 how I requested you and CPP to investigate this fraud case. I have received Rs.60565/- on 15.01.2024 from the insurance company (hdfc ergo) which was defrauded with me on 24.10.2024. I am also submitting to you the copy of receipt of Rs.60565/- from the insurance company dated 15.01.2025 after tireless efforts by you and me.

                      I have received the statement of SBI Credit Card from you dated 11.01.2025 showing payment amount 72930/-. One thing to note my credit card was frauded and you charged me finance / hidden charges of Rs 10472.01. I can make credit card payment of Rs.62457.99 to you but request you to waive the charges imposed on me which is Rs.10472.01.

                      I am re-sending you the documents that I submitted after the credit card fraud. It is a humble request that we verify all those documents.

                      I am repeatedly telling you that I am ready to pay you Rs.62457.99. Once again I request you to waive the charges of Rs.10472.01 which you have imposed on me and please do not mention this in my CIBIL in future. (KINDLY CHECK & INVESTIGATE PAYMENT ADVISE OF HDFC ERGO WHICH WAS ATTACHED BY ME.)

                      Your immediate action is highly appreciated. (KINDLY NOTE THAT - I am contacting SBI department daily through e-mail and phone to waive the charges which you have imposed on me Of RS.10472.01.)

                      Please take this matter on priority basis and go through the attachments. I want waive of charges confirmation from the SBI credit card team of RS.10472.01. I requesting to Mr.Sagar Advocate please Investigate with SBI & CPP team regarding all this matter. I am ready to pay SBI RS.62457.99 anytime.

                          I have the due payment of 11559.00 on 9th Jan 25 and I paid it on 16th Jan 25 through SBI card app and acknowledgement message also received for the payment.
                          Today on 17 Jan SBI card debited my Sbi bank account with same amount 11559.00 even I haven't given any auto debit consent or permission.
                          I am using other banks credit card also but not facing this kind of harrasment and silly behaviour which I am facing from SBI Card.
                          If there is any late payment these people are charging huge penalty for that amount but even after charging penalty bank executive people make call again and again for due payment.
                          I haven't given any kind of consent for auto debit and debiting my account is a delebrate act of violation of my rights.
                          Please do the needful.
