I am a legal heir based in the United States. The State Bank of India – Vengalloor Branch (Branch Code 71085) sanctioned a demand draft on July 8, 2025, after reviewing and approving all legal documents submitted by my lawyer which I had to retain in India because they were uncommunicative.
That same day, I replied to their email and provided my full U. S. mailing address and additional details. However, the branch has since gone completely silent. No draft has been dispatched, no tracking information provided, and multiple follow-ups have gone unanswered on how this will be handled.
I have escalated this issue to:
The SBI Chairman ([protected]@sbi.co.in)
GM and DGM of Customer Service (gm. [protected]@sbi.co.in, dgm. [protected]@sbi.co.in)
The AGM of the Thiruvananthapuram Circle (agmcustomer. [protected]@sbi.co.in)
Despite repeated efforts, I have received no response or resolution. This has caused me significant emotional distress and financial uncertainty.
I request immediate action from SBI to dispatch the sanctioned demand draft and provide tracking confirmation. If this is not resolved within 5 business days, I will escalate further through legal and regulatory channels.
This is not how a bank of SBI’s stature should treat customers — especially during a time of bereavement and with customers who use them to keep their money abroad safe and secure. Was this information helpful? |
