Dear executive,
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment regarding the service I received when attempting to open an SBI digital account with reference numbers AIBXIRGUVTS and AIBPWSDVK0 .
Yesterday on the 15th December 2025 at 10:30 AM I and My friend and I visited the Gandhidham Branch of SBI to get my savings bank account opened. There a staff member denied my request to open the account, stating I would first have to deposit ₹2000, of which ₹1400 would be allocated toward generating an insurance policy. When I informed them that they cannot compel me to purchase insurance, as it is my choice, they told me they would not open the account.
I was told directly that I should visit another branch if I did not wish to pay for insurance to open the account. I find this practice utterly unacceptable, as customers should not be forced to purchase additional products to open a basic savings account.
I am utterly disappointed by this service and the staff's disinterest in fulfilling my request. I urge you to investigate this matter immediately and ensure the staff adhere to proper banking procedures.
I look forward to your prompt resolution of this issue Was this information helpful? |
