I had purchased 15 teak trees in september 1994 with sterling tree magnum (India) ltd, which was introduced as a branch company of sterling holiday resorts. The cost was rs.22125. Initially the scheme was for 15 years.in 2008, a company representative came and informed me that since the original scheme was not performing as per expectations the company was offering me 2 options. One was converting value of my investment into time share with sterling resorts and two continue with the teak tree scheme. I chose the latter. But that was the end of it.
