We were called 1day before booking that there is some political issue n disturbance in varca near resort so we have to cancel our booking. We said we will visit the resort n see if any problem is there but they insisted that we can not allow u to go to that resort as cabs r not allowed there and all bookings has been cancelled. They asked us to pay rs. 3800 per night to book another hotel. As we had flight bookings done, we had to book another hotel immediately paying rs 20000. But when we reached here in goa, we found after talking to locals that there is no disturbance. We called sterling varca, they said resort is open and there is no disturbance. We have been lied, cheated and harassed. We have all call records, flight boarding passes and everything. We are going to file a case against sterling for cheating and harrasment.
