[Resolved]  Sterling Holidays Resorts — membership issue

My name is dr. Mahendra kumar aseri and i'm 56 years old. I was contacted by mr. Ayush saxena from sterling holidays to subscribe to their membership on 16th july 2017. He made many false promises regarding the membership and the benefits that comes along with it. He also misrepresented himself as an alumni of iit delhi (Which we recently came to know that he is not by browsing his facebook profile) thereby gaining our trust and managed to convince us to make a payment of rs. 1, 07, 795/-. I was told that the package will include a free foreign trip of 7 days for 4 people within a year of taking the membership and that the company will arrange for everything and will also help us getting our passports made. Along with this, the package will include 3 complimentary holiday coupons of 2 days for 2 people each in india which can be availed as per our convenience within a year of taking the membership. Also, ayush said that if we were not satisfied with the services, we could cancel the membership anytime we wanted even after we have used some of the services and our money will be refunded after deducting the requisite amount. We were to receive a packet carrying the documents to avail the above mentioned offers.

As it turns out, the whole thing was a complete fraud. We have been deceived in making payment. We never received any sort of packet of documents from the company. When we tried to inquire, we were told that the packet has already been delivered but the company didn't cooperate at all. They neither disclosed the name of the courier agency nor the name/signature of the person who they claim have taken the delivery of the packet. We contacted ayush again for our problem, saying that we were not longer willing to continue this deal, to which he assured us that he will help us in getting our money refunded. After a while he stopped responding to our calls, mails or messages.

We then tried contacting the company through their customer care forum. They said that we cannot cancel our membership now and that our money will not be refunded. Having no options left, we asked the company to atleast provide us with the necessary documents so that we can use our offers to which they said that we will again have to raise a request for the same.

From the date of taking the membership till now, already 6 months have passed and we haven't got any benefit whatsoever of any kind. We are extremely disappointed with the kind of reciprocation received from such a big company. We have further noticed that people through internet have raised similar complaints regarding sterling holidays' membership and also regarding ayush saxena.

We are now not at all interested in continuing our membership and we want our money back as soon as possible. And since, these memberships are built on the trust represented by the company through their agents (Which has clearly been breached), we expect that mr. Ayush saxena should be punished strictly for firstly lying about himself and about the company's policies related to their membership and secondly for deceiving people out of their hard earned money.

Please find attached: photo of facebook profile of ayush saxena which shows that he isn't a graduate of iit delhi, receipts of payments made till now and other documents related to package.

No steps have been taken by the company to resolve our complaint. And nobody tried to contact us for the same. Seems like they have a standard response for each and every complaint they receive without actually resolving the matter.

Nobody tried to contact us... and our complaint has not been resolved yet. We are infuriated with the kind of customer care services your company is delivering.
