    I ordered food for a not insignificant amount from KFC on Swiggy. The delivery partner cancelled the order without a phone call nor did I receive any message from Swiggy. I called the customer service. They refused to provide the phone number of the delivery partner and also refused any refund putting the blame on me and asked for a fresh order. I feel like I have been scammed. They are protecting the delivery partner and till now no messages have been sent from Swiggy.

      I am writing to formally lodge a complaint concerning an order placed on October 5, 2024 (Order ID: [protected]) through Swiggy, from Big Bowl, Thaltej Outlet, Ahmedabad. The details of the order are as follows:

      Restaurant Name: Big Bowl, Thaltej Outlet, Ahmedabad
      Order Value: ₹447
      The issue stems from a clear disregard of specific instructions provided at the time of ordering, which were crucial to the observance of my religious fast. I specifically requested that the food be prepared without onion and garlic, in compliance with the dietary restrictions associated with fasting. Unfortunately, upon receiving the order, I discovered that the food contained both ingredients that are strictly prohibited during fasting and violated the very essence of the religious practice, resulting in a serious disruption of my fast.

      The observance of fasting holds deep spiritual significance, guided by divine virtues such as purity, self-control, and reverence. The failure of the restaurant to adhere to my instructions has led to the following grievances:

      Non-Compliance with Specific Dietary Instructions: Despite clear and explicit instructions, the food was prepared using onion and garlic, which were to be excluded.

      Violation of Religious Virtues: The breach of my fasting instructions has undermined the sanctity of my religious observance, causing spiritual and personal distress.

      Disrespect for Customer's Religious Beliefs: The failure to follow the dietary restrictions not only caused a significant inconvenience but also reflected a lack of respect for my religious practices and beliefs.

      I have previously raised this issue with Swiggy’s customer support, but I have not received a satisfactory resolution. Swiggy, in their communication, admitted their mistake. However, their response has been casual and dismissive, which I find wholly unacceptable. The way they handled the situation shows a lack of care and responsibility toward consumer concerns.

      I have attached the correspondence from Swiggy, which highlights their careless approach toward resolving this matter.

      In light of the above, I request the following:

      Full Reimbursement: I request a complete refund of ₹447 paid for the order, as the food provided was not in accordance with my instructions.

      Formal Acknowledgment and Apology: I seek a formal apology and acknowledgment from the restaurant and Swiggy for the oversight and the disrespect shown toward my religious practices.

      This matter, in my view, requires intervention from the Consumer Court, as the failure to comply with my dietary instructions not only caused inconvenience but also violated my fundamental rights as a consumer.

      I respectfully urge you to take appropriate action and resolve this issue at the earliest. I have enclosed all relevant documents, including the order receipt, communication with Swiggy, and screenshots of the order details, for your reference.

      Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to a prompt and satisfactory resolution.

        Hello. After contacting numerous times and to numerous places where I can get reply from swiggy I have came here. Delivery agent brought the food totally damaged however even after sharing multiple images to multiple places they didn't help. The order was solely burgers with paper covers and the item was fully damaged due to the drinks got spilled. How is that my issue. I paid nearly 600 to Swiggy to get my dinner however instead of dinner I got wet food. Upon raising complaint they say they can't do anything regarding. They are just looting customers for their own benefit isn't it. I am sharing pictures and I demand replacement or complete refund. The order I'd is [protected]

          On Sunday, October 6, at 9:20 PM, I placed an order for ice cream from Polar Bear via Swiggy. At 9:50 PM, the swiggy delivery guy called, claiming he was at my location. He said, "Your location is 500m away". I instructed him to come to my floor since it was an apartment building. However, he didn't come.

          I checked the swiggy app, and the map in the app showed him wandering in a different area (near Marathallli), which was concerning. He called me to get the location. He gave me a phone number and asked me to send the location, which I shared through whatsapp. He replied that my shared location is "5 km away." The location I shared was the same location I used in the swiggy app every time.

          By 10:10 PM, after waiting, I got a notification from swiggy that my polar bear order was cancelled, and to my dismay, a cancellation fee (Rupees 254) was added to my account. I reached out to the chat and call support of swiggy and talked with their team. They told me that, the delivery guy had said, "I was not picking up the call", therefore swiggy cancelled my order.

          This is completely baseless because I talked to him, I got his number and shared my location and then the order got cancelled. This to me seems like "delivery fraud".

          I talked with the Swiggy team today. And requested to remove the "cancellation fee" charged on my new orders. But they refused, saying "As per policy, they can't do it".

          Resolution:
          1. Removal of my cancellation fee.
          2. Charge swiggy with fines for mishandling complaints and issues.
          3. Make swiggy change its policies on cancelling orders.

            I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Swiggy regarding an incident of gross negligence and emotional distress caused by their incorrect delivery of food in a recent order.

            Details of the Incident:

            Restaurant Name: Chinese Wok
            Order Description: I had specifically ordered Egg Rice through the Swiggy platform, but I was shockingly delivered Chicken Rice instead.
            Delivery Location: H No. 2622, Ground Floor, Leaf Berry Apartments, Main Bazar, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Punjab 140301, India
            I am a strict non-consumer of chicken due to personal, ethical, and dietary reasons. The incorrect delivery of chicken rice has not only caused significant emotional distress but also violated my personal beliefs. I have never consumed chicken in my entire life, and this incident deeply affected me.

            Despite multiple attempts to contact Swiggy through their app and customer service channels, I have not received an adequate resolution. Their negligence and lack of accountability in addressing this issue have left me with no choice but to escalate the matter.

            Relief Sought:

            A formal acknowledgment of the error and an official apology.
            Compensation for the emotional distress caused due to the negligence.
            Assurance of improved practices to prevent such incidents from happening to other consumers in the future.
            Evidence Provided:

            Attached are screenshots of the incorrect order, the order receipt, and my communication with Swiggy regarding this incident.
            Given the gravity of the situation and Swiggy's failure to provide an appropriate resolution, I kindly request the Consumer Complaints Authority to intervene and assist me in seeking justice.

            I sincerely hope that my complaint will be addressed, and the necessary action will be taken against Swiggy for their negligence and failure to maintain proper quality standards.

              I am based in Bangalore, and I tried placed an order for a friend in Hyderabad, order number [protected] with an order value of INR 908. To my disappointment, the order was not delivered despite the app showing it as delivered. I tried contacting the delivery agent Sujit Dash on the number provided and there wasn't any response. I then reach out to chat support who just told to drop an email to [protected]@swiggy.in and closed the chat. I then tried reaching out voice support and connected with Shristi who also did not get a response from the delivery partner and just asked me to write to the same email. On asking for an escalation contact after nearly 15 minutes of insistence from me that the call me escalated, I was transferred to her supervisor Nitya who was equally non supportive and disconnected the call. In parallel I also emailed the issue to swiggy support with the incident. Frustratingly after fleecing me of the money that includes not just the order value, but platform fee, delivery charges of 112 and taxes swiggy wrote back to me that the ticket is closed because their investigation believes it's been delivered. I have asked them for the investigation report and all they have to say is it is delivered and nothing more can be done. Swiggy is behaving like a fraudster, and I seek justice in this regard.

                I am resident of Hyderabad and ordered Few items from Swiggy bearing Order # [protected] with below Items:

                Feast Cadbury Crackle 70ml 2 ₹ 120
                Oreo & Cream, 700ml 1 ₹ 299
                Tender Coconut Cup, 100ml 2 ₹ 100
                Aamras [60ml x 2pcs] 1 ₹ 60
                Choco Brownie Fudge Party Pack 700ml 1 ₹ 180

                Out of which they had not delivered Feast Cadbury Crackle of 2 Qty and Oreo & Cream sent was party pack instead of Tub.

                Upon complaining they not providing any resolution and just asking to rate the restaraunt instead.

                Kindly please take action on these customer not friendly practices by charging full amount and delivering incomplete orders and rejecting the refunds or replacements just by asking us to rate restaraunt.

                Awaiting for resolution.

                    I have ordered a garlic bread from swiggy on 16 september
                    Order no. [protected]. At 1:42 amthe food which was delivered was not fit to eat after one bite i felt like vomitting. And after complaining to coustemr care i have also send them the pictures of the food. There respond was very unhelpful neither i got my refund nor the order replaced, due to scaricty of restruant at that time i have to slept hungry at night.

                      I have ordered something from swiggy and selected wrong address. They have no option to update the address, and these guys took whole amount as cancellation fee. I really don't understand what this policy is., atleast they should have another option, can charge half amount as cancellation fee.

                      I am fed up with their services and have uninstall swiggy.

                        My order should have had 2 mcallo tikki burger, two fries, two Fanta and one pizza puff. Instead I got, 3 mcallo tikki burger and one cold coffee.
                        Additionally, the bill was also wrong.
                        In conclusion, I received the wrong order.
                        The swiggy customer service has issued 2 coupons to me which are worth 55₹, when 5 items were missing from my order.

                          Desired Resolution - Refund!!!

                          My order was denied a refund because of a technical gliche. When I opened my web app which i regularly do i only select the recent pop up location which is in Jakkasandra Koramangala Bangalore, whereas because i wanted to check the help it automatically opened the app and the location was different (Taverekere Koramangala). The chat executive straight away denied a refund. Most importantly when I called the customer support he directly blames me that i have done the mistake and that they will not refund. I have the call recording and I am willing to take this forward in any capacity because this is a repeat problem and the amount that was paid is not a joke for me. The call recording attachment is not supported to be uploaded, happy to share over email.

                          I give Swiggy support team maximum of 1 week time to resolve before further escalation through other channels.

                              I have ordered so many orders on Swiggy and I was happy with each order.

                              But this time Order ID :- [protected] is truly horrible. Explanation to this:-
                              1. Paneer Tikka :- only two small pieces of Paneer tikka with poor quality inside the box.
                              2. Mushroom Tikka:- only small 5 mushroom pieces which were uncooked. Tasteless. Poor quality with only capsicum inside the box.
                              3. Pizza :- Pizza base was stale and very hard with smell coming from base. Poor quality.

                              Too much chilli inside the dishes. No member of my family can eat these dishes. Too much chilli so that tears comes from each member during eating. Me and my father have to go to washrooms for loose motions after eating such poor quality food.

                              ****MOST IMPORTANT :- THIS RESTAURANT IS NOT IN TRIKUTA NAGAR. IT IS IN MIRAN SAHIB. WHY IT IS SHOWING LOCATION AS TRIKUTA NAGAR ON YOUR SWIGGY PAGES.

                              IT IS JUST A SCAM. KINDLY TAKE STRICT ACTION AGAINST THEM OR REMOVE THEM FROM YOUR SWIGGY SO THAT THIS RESTAURANT/SHOP WILL NOT MAKE FRAUD WITH SWIGGY CUSTOMERS OTHERWISE I WILL HAVE TO GO TO CONSUMER COURT TO GET STRICT ACTION AGAINST SUCH FRAUDULENT SHOP AND SWIGGY ALSO FOR NOT VERIFICATION OF LOCATION OF SUCH FRAUDLERS.

                                I ordered a Rasmalai Cake from Swiggy on August 17, 2024, which was prepared by Ready Bakers Den. I opted for cash on delivery and paid ₹272. Upon receiving the cake, I found it completely damaged, with the name on the cake erased and the overall appearance ruined.

                                I immediately tried to contact the bakery, but they did not respond to my calls. I then reached out to Swiggy through their app to lodge a complaint, but no action was taken. I also attempted to escalate the issue by tweeting to Swiggy’s official support handle, but I still have not received any resolution or even a response.

                                Due to the lack of response from Swiggy, I have been forced to file this complaint. I request a full refund of ₹272 and for Swiggy to take appropriate action against the bakery for their negligence. This situation has caused me inconvenience, and I believe it is my right as a consumer to receive proper service and a resolution.

                                  Please allow me to state the facts of the events that transpired on the 07 August 2024.

                                  I placed an order via Swiggy to the tune of Rupees 182, the payment thereof was made via Simpl. Prior to delivery, I received a call from Swiggy's representative stating that a refund has been initiated; hence, at the time of delivery, I paid the delivery agent Rupees 182 again via UPI to the number he had requested.

                                  Shortly thereafter, I received a call from the delivery agent claiming that there was some issue with the refund, and he had initially asked us to transfer Rupees 818 as his current account minimum balance should be Rupees 1, 000 in order from him to transfer funds. Upon receipt of Rupees 818, he corrects himself stating that his minimum account balance should be Rupees 2, 000 and further asked us to transfer Rupees 1, 000. We disconnected the call believing that this agent was cheating us.

                                  Immediately we raised a complaint via Swiggy's help center and also wrote to them at [protected]@swiggy.in (till date we haven't received a reply to our e-mail nor any resolution).

                                  The first customer representative helped us get in touch with the delivery agent via a conference call, wherein the delivery agent claimed as above, thinking this was legit and their calls are usually recorded for quality purposes, we transferred Rupees 1, 000. The agent claimed to transfer the funds in the next 1-2 hours.

                                  Given that he failed to transfer these funds on the 7th of August, we chased the Swiggy team again on the 8th August, the 2nd customer representative helped us get in touch with the delivery agent again where he claimed to transfer the funds by 4 p.m. on the said date. Again, our trust on Swiggy was compromised.

                                  Unfortunately, it has been more than 12 days now and my only request to Swiggy is to please refund my Rupees 2, 000 which was illegal solicited.

                                  Separately, I request the dedicated team to please spread awareness of such instances to educate the larger group and to avoid being cheated.

                                    Order Lindt Napolitans Assorted from swiggy insta mart in Koramangala, Bangalore. The received item showed an MRP of 1600 rupees, whereas Swiggy charged it as 1850 rupees. It is 250 rupees above MRP swiggy is selling this item which is against the consumer laws in this country. While raising complaint there is no response or incorrect response from customer care. An agent named nazia was rude and did not do the diligence in support my grievance through call.

                                      I recently ordered veg biryani from restaurant called Biryani Blues. I called the restaurant and they informed me that food is already prepared and packed within 15 minutes. I called the Swiggy executive regarding the issue and requested them to assign delivery person so that I can get my food. But they denied by saying that order is still on time and I will get food. I was in a sense of doubt that I would get cold food. That's why I called them but they ensured in case your food is cold, please call us again and we will compensate you for that or we will refund you with your money. But later on post delivery when I called them or tried to contact them, they refused. I had no other option then I put an email regarding the complaint. I also contacted the Twitter support team but there also I got the same response that we can't help you in this issue. This is a kind of fraudulent that Swiggy is doing with each and every customer. I want complete refund for my inconvenience and an additional compensation for wasting my time and efforts and trying to fool a customer.

                                        We have ordered food from Swiggy on 7 August 2024 wide order No. [protected] (4 items) Gunsan Dhaba & Cafe Pratap Nagar, Jaipur for Rs. 394.00 after discount.

                                        Initially we ordered 10 chapati with Panner Tikka Masala for Rs. 165.00 and Chole Paneer for Rs. 99.00.

                                        We added 1 more chapati (11 Nos.) but the price of Panner Tikka Masala increased to Rs. 167.00 and Chole Paneer for Rs. 100.00. (Two rupees increased in Panner Tikka Masala and One rupee in Chole Paneer.

                                        Had a conversation with swiggy for order No. [protected] on Saturday 10 August and till date I have not received any reply from swiggy. Till 2.14 pm to 2.49 pm I was waiting for response, then I closed the chat as they were taking too long. But unfortunately, I didn't received any reply till date i.e 12 August 2024.
