I ordered 2 packs of Mamypoko Pants (Size L) via Swiggy Instamart. However, I received 1 pack of Size L and 1 pack of Size XL.
At the time of delivery, I noticed the mismatch and immediately informed both the delivery agent and the store manager. They acknowledged the issue and advised me to raise a complaint through the Swiggy app.
I followed their instructions and raised a complaint on the app and also sent multiple emails with clear images of the wrongly delivered item. Despite this, Swiggy denied my return/replacement request without giving any valid reason. Their support simply responded with vague messages like “we are unable to validate your claim, ” even though I provided full evidence.
This is a case of deficiency in service and unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. As a customer, I should not be penalized for a mistake made in packaging/delivery. Was this information helpful? |
