I placed an order with Instamart [protected] and received damaged items. Inspite of submitting the photographs and details no resolution was offered and the chat was closed.
The seals of the peanut butter had opened and the content have leaked out. The butter that had leaked out is dried on the outer cap, outside the seal, so this seal was already leaking in their storage.
(If it was a fresh break the butter would be wet)
The mishti doi container the seal is punctured and its sticky contents have leaked out (due to bad handling and packaging)
I was asked to email a complaint which I did and received an apology but no replacement or refund and no reason for it either. This is straight out cheating and fraud.
Having had several such damaged items received in the past (replaced without issue) I believe Instamart is selling damaged defective products to unsuspecting customers hoping to frustrate the customer so they give up the claim.
I am very disappointed with the experience. I am a Swiggy one subscriber and use Instamart almost daily. Never has the resolution of an issue been so complicated. It almost seems as though you are trying to create delays to resolve the issue hoping the customer gives up. I believe this is fraud on the part of Instamart. Was this information helpful? |
