I ordered the food on Swiggy with order id - ORDER #[protected] on Sun, Jan 6, 8:54 PM. The order was placed to a restaurant Homely. It had two items- Moong Dal Ki Khichdi and Aloo Dum, Chana Masala & Rotis or Rice. It was delivered in a sealed package. I was busy in some work so I opened the delivered package after some time.Once I did I found out that only Moong dal ki khichdi was in the sealed package. Now I went to help on Swiggy app and opted for chat. The support person was not helpful at all and all she offered was Rs 50 coupon. Now there were two issues. First was that I was hungry and at that moment coupon wouldn't help. Second was I paid Rs 145 for the order and clearly any sensible person won't accept Rs 50 coupon. So I asked the support to reorder the missing item but all she did was keep repeating the coupon. After this I called the customer care and the person did the same thing that is repeat the Rs. 50 coupon offer. I asked him that I wanted to talk to his manager. He muted my call for 3 min. and after that he started saying sorry and said the company policy was to just offer Rs. 50. He did it for half an hour. After that I thought that It's snesible to accept Rs. 50 coupon as I may not get anything for my money. Now after cutting the call I again called the customer executive on a separate number I I told him the same. What he said was that since I accepted the Rs. 50 coupon I am at fault and they can't do anything. Now I think Swiggy clearly duped me. Instead of contacting the "Homely, Kormangala, Bangalore" restaurant they kept repeating the company's policy. The support instead of being helpful was very unhelpful and utterly disresectful.
