Symphony Limited — Online selling of defective air coolers by symphony and worst after sale service

I have purchased sumo 40xl air cooler online from symphony through their own website named, https://shop.Symphonylimited.Com/.

I got delivery of thie product through "delhivery" on 29th march 2022. I requested delivery person to open the box, but he refused and said that if there is any problem, company will give you replacement. I accepted the package and made cash payment to him.

After opening i found that honeycomd filter is damaged and found pieces inside the box. I have attached herewith pictures and invoice of this defective product

immediately i called their customer care number [protected] and informed about the situation. They advised me to go for 10 days hassle free replacement because honeycomb filter is not warrantable item. I raised complaint through their website and i also sent mail to their customer care at [protected]@symphonylimited.Com and requested them either to change the product or at least change the defective part that is honeycomb filter.

I received reply from them on 31st march 2022 where they mention that within 2 to 3 days defective part will be picked up and within 3 to 4 working days new checked product will be shipped.

It is been more than 1 week now, they have neither changed the product nor changed the damaged filter. I am wasting my days of summer without air cooler inspite of paying them.

I have strongly realised that they are selling defective products online by offering them discount and once product is sold, they only do timepass giving fake promises / statements like we will change product / product will be picked up very soon, we will change the part / we have ordered the part etc etc, by doing this they are expecting customer to get fed up and leave once the summer is over. After summer their product is of no use. Their policy is to
sell the defective products by offering them discounts during summer and then do timepass till summer is over.

I have never seen such a worst service ever.

I will never ever recommend this product to anyone nor i will again go for any symphony product

after raising a complaint on 29th march 2022 for replacement of air cooler, i was getting sms from Delhivery delivery that your air cooler will be picked up today. i received this message for continuous 10 days but no one actually came to pick up. they just did the timepass.

finally they have changed RH side honeycomb filter by sending their technician at my residence after 15 days of raising complaint that is on 13 th april 2022.

i would like to mark this complaint as resolved but extremely unhappy with the service of Symphony
