Tata AIG Insurance — tata aig car insurance customer harassment for claim

A company with tata group and unfortunatelly do not follow any ethics. They represent a true lies with in settlement of the claim and try to make unnecessary demans of diucments which you can not produce or will take long time.

I was a tata aig car insurance holder and i have submit a claim from them. I had taken bumper to bumper insurance with 35k approx premium. Claim was register with them due to body shop on car parts.

I went for the claim process and spoke to tata aig representative over phone, they told me its due to mallicious act and the need a police acknowledgement.

It took me 1day time to get the police acknowledgement and i produced the doucment to them.

After the review they said that they need a fir copy for the claim. I was having feeling that if they do not want to settle the claim or they want to customer to harass. I spoke to the customer care and they said same thing as they do not have much idea.

I raised the grivence wtih tata aig which was replied by ajit dhuri. I had raised few query and information why they need fir copy and why its under malliciois act which they wantted to impose on my claim. Why their people said that they need acknowledgement and then fir.

Instead of replying to my query he started asking other document like complain copy and acknowledgement ect.

I replied to him asking same thing again and shared the document over email a i thought he will take any action.

I do not what in his mind and what he wanted to say but his words look like he certainly want to close this without settlement this. He asked for signature of complaint copy with acknowledgement.

I think its my duty to give them acknowledgement dully signed by police or shared the complain with signed on them not both. I have aleady shared them acknowledgement. Policge give acknowledgement not the original letter signed by them. If they do what will they have it.

I raised the claim with tata aig and i did not get any thing aprt from claim nummbe ad while settleing they need all the document.

If tata aig really have some issue with acknowledgement then they shoudl go to police station and enquire rather then asking me.

I am really suffering from this tata aig insurance agents. After paying a whole lot of amount i did not get anything apart from wasting my time..

I donot know but indian law should have certain things to make such company suffer. I took insurance beliving tht it will be helpfull for me but i am spending more time in chasing such claims.

I will suggest to everyone to take insurance from good company but never ever from tata aig as they do not settle claims as they have very worst team.
