[Resolved] Tata Docomo — Overcharging in monthly rental bill of tata docomo post paid plan | |||
Respected sir, I went to tata docomo show room, requesting for prepaid connection for porting of my mobile no. (Mumbai sim) to local no. (Hyderabad). The show room representative said that there is no such portability exists except post paid plan. He convinced me to take post paid connection. He said only ₹199/- will be deducted by taking "gsm ultra 199 monthly rental" plan by giving 199 local national sms free, 36k local + std sec (600 min) & 500 mb free data for month. I have paid ₹50/- towards sim charges and mobile has been activated on 07th may 2016. My friends alerted me, to not use mobile data because they will charge much amount. On the same day i called to tata docomo customer care for de activating the internet data usage and also requested that every day the account details to be sent to my mobile. On 14 may 16, mobile internet 2g data has been charged 29mb (Approx ₹96/-). Irrespective of informing to deactivate the data they have charged this amount. On customer care executive’s suggestion i have subscribed for 500mb (It supposed to be 512mb) data for one month validity. I requested on 21th may 16 but they activated internet 2g data pack on 25th may 16. The interesting fact is that this amount has been billed in the both the months (May and june 16). One more fact is that i had set data limit usage in my mobile, once it is over 500mb then it will alert me. After completion of data i called to customer care for the status of 2g data usage. They said that the limit is crossed and further ₹356/- charged. This information has been mailed to appellate authority. They also given wrong information that 500mb free data per month will be given (As show room representative said). Till now they have charged total amount ₹ 1469/- (For 03 months) All the information given by tata docomo customer care representatives is baseless facts and they are charging more amount.
