Tata Docomo — worst internet and funny plans | |
I have been using tata photon maxwifi for the last one year, and i chose the biggest plan that was 30GB for a rental of Rs.1250. I am sure that by now, people would have understood how bad the service is. But let me explain that last month i called customer care service for at least 5 times as i couldn't connect to internet and let me tell you it was not for few minutes or few hours but for several hours. Every time i call the customer care on this they keep saying that the area that i lived in, was high demand one and they were trying to improve the bandwidth. Realizing that i couldn't depend on it ( as i work from home half of my work) i opted for cable internet.
I then called up the customer care and asked for smaller plan as i thought it would be a waste of money paying Rs.1425 ( including service taxes ) and expecting to reduce my bills from anywhere between 200-400. Then to my shock, the customer care suggested me to go for 10GB plan that would cost me Rs1500 which i would be paying around Rs.1650 per month. So i realized my days with photon are going to be over soon.
Isn't that funny really ? they cancelled all the initial plans now because there are complaints from almost every user about the internet speed and they do not seem to improve their infrastructure and bandwidth. i have used bsnl evdo, relaince, photon plus, and photon maxwifi so far and i can say maxwifi is the worst of all. The photon customer care is absolutely useless. If you call them only to have lost your talktime. Was this information helpful? | |
