My Vehicle No. MH 12 HL 1456 was sent as usual to Concorde Motors Pune, for service and starting problem and coolant leakage. The car was misfiring.The reasons offered by them were 1. A sensor in the manifold had gone bust. (2) Coolant leaked due to broken thermostat box. The thermostat box was replaced, with several other parts. I was assured that the complaints have been taken care of and, other than minor morning starting problem, there would be no other problem. The manifold had to be changed under extended warranty, and after that the starting problem would also go. The vehicle continued to have the same problems, and when in the same week of servicing, I travelled to Goa, all my 4 spark plugs went bust and the vehicle was stalled. it had to be towed to the margoa Tata dealer . I had to spend time and money on vacation due their fault. On my return I gave the car for another check up, whereafter I was assured that there was no more problem . whereas I had fill coolant 3 times in 1.5 months. Also even after the change of the manifold, the starting and misfiring problem continued. This week I filed a comp-laint with Tata Motors regarding the matter, as concorde failed to give proper response, I gave the car again for a check up, as requested by them . Now they are telling me that the ignition coil is bust. This never happens, was the response from their end itself, and that is why the coil was not in stock and is being ordered and my car is stalled for the week. I have spent over 20k over this matter and innumerable days without a car, hampering my work, as well as my wife's. as promised, they have not provided me with a loaner car either. I have been mentally harassed by this situation. My contention is that due to wrong diagnosis by Concorde, my car has suffered, and it should be serviced and parts replaced at the cost of Concorde and not me. And I demand that they give me Rs.10000/- worth of accessories as compensation. Was this information helpful? |
