[Resolved] Tata Motors — missing problem in tata tiago

Hi,

Yesterday I faced a problem with my tata tiago, after running for around 20 kms it started giviing missing problem and It started giving acceleration problem . It misses each time i accelerate. Tata motors dealers say that there is a problem in fuel pump and it will cost me around 9000 coz my car is not under warranty. This is jot my mistake this is a manufacturing defect amd company should replace it and what is the gaurantee that it will not caause the problem even after I replace it .

This is ridiculous and I have never expected this from Tata Motors

Company has provided me the resolution and changed my fuel pump. I hope it will not give me problem in future and my car will go in a long way, Thanks to Mr. Subhajit Roy and Shoiab Ghori.

Updated by Rohitverma267 As per the complaints status of several customers on this portal. It seems that there is some issue with the car manufacturing.

Please advise me what needs to be done. will my car issue ever be resoved ?

Updated by Rohitverma267 If this issue persists in TATA cars they should resolve this from their side. WHy should we pay for the defect which we are not aware of.

Updated by Rohitverma267 I have my car diagnosed at Sagar motors. However service advisor have caught the issue and advised me to change car’s fuel pump which will cost me around 11000 INR.

Please tell me whose fault is this. Mine or company’s; and TATA motors is charging me like anything for no good reason just because my warranty is over on feb 2019. My car run is just 25000 kms and fuel pump is faulty.

I want this to be replaced at no cost because its manufacturing defect not mine.

I know this issue is there with Tata Tiago and many people are facing this. This is not a joke. I am very dissatisfied with this car and what is the guarantee that it will go a long way and not give me issues in future. I have so much confidence in Tata motors that it will be with me in a long run but in vain.

Please advise and let me know what can be done regarding this or do I have to talk to higher authorities.

Its sheer not acceptable that company is not accepting its mistake and charging me like heaven.

they are now forcing me to just file a case in consumer court.
