Tata Motors — Poor quality after sell service at Bankura,W.B.

Address:722101

In comparison of my old Alto LXI, I decided to purchase one Twist XT model car keeping in mind the higher mileage, passenger comfortable space inside and other features including the road coast and to avail discount. I attended my nearest car dealer situated in same locality named Bharati Motor (vide dealer address: Mouza Keshiakole, Bikna beside Khandelwal Marbel and show room at Nutanchati Kalimandir) There I selected a Damson purple colored Twist XT. One such model was there which was a test ride car as I have been told by the person who attend me and as there was a scratch mark on the left side of bumper below the head light. I have assured a fresh one car happens to be kept stationed at their workshop and will be delivered to me with 3 ltr. of fuel at the time of delivery. I paid in advance by issuing a cheque worth of Rs, 1, 70, 569/- drawn on Indian Bank Bankura dated 29/8/2015. Rest amount Rs. 75000/- financed by Mahindra finance as per advice of the dealer-personnel. The same person is not a technical expert of such have to request him to call a person of such knowledge. The workshop manager shows the detail of a car stationed their (Blue color) which meter board shows total run of 19 K.M so far. I requested the dealer office person to make a delivery of my new car in the middle of September’2015 after completion of an other formalities like insurance, registration, etc. They allow a short ride driven by the workshop in-charge. Before physical delivery of car, the show room office personnel asked my father to sign on delivery challan as it will help them to speed of processing of papers for registration. On good faith my old father signed on behalf of me without verification of the original car which would have to be supplied to me. On 22nd Sep’ after presentation of car at local R.T.A office the same person with his driver bearing chassis no. MAT612274EKB04835 and Engine No: 273MPFL12CVYK04741 delivered the car at my residence without any decoration instead with sign of rough washing mark everywhere foggy dried water smudge on glasses. My father enquired the promised quantity of fuel after several request they poured a litre of petrol from a one ltr. drinking water bottle brought with them. Next day I marked a patch, repaired of colour on the left side of bumper below the head light and a rough brush finish look, different from other portion. I informed the matter to the showroom personnel. He advice me to bring the car to workshop at Keshiakole, and assured me that it will be removed there. I, along with my driver noticed that the mileage run meter shows total run of the car previous to my use is showing a reading of 186 K.M. while car used for my purpose was 12 k.m only. I asked the reason and I told that the same car came from Burdwan district, while the answer at showroom was brought from Kharagpur (P.Medinipur district). By road both places are in 110 k.m and 105 k.m distant respectively. Meanwhile, on 21/09/2015 there was an accident occurred near my residence in order to save a child’s life. It was a driver who compelled to dodge the front of the car to wall. I sent my car to workshop where I came to know that it will cost approx. Rs. 30, 000/- thousands. However the Bajaj Allianj company assessed the car of repair and replacement of damaged article something about 24000/- thousands only. And granted 15000/- towards their contribution. I agreed to bear the rest of the expenditure to incurred. I inform the manager about sanctioned money and I want to know the mode and manner of payment. I preferred to pay the whole amount by cheque on completion of repair but your dealer workshop manager asked me to pay in cash in advance as he has to purchased material like colour, parts etc. Though earlier he said to my father that he will replaced all the damaged parts with new one including dented bonnets. Now I am afraid of proper repair and process of payment as asked for. I have had experienced in case of my old car in same nature of accident, hassle free service provided by the Maruti dealer all the paraphernalia as was mated by them and delivered me a repaired car looks as good as new one and claimed money with completed properly. Now I would request to you to look into the matter so that goodwill of your company may not be hampered due to the immature act of your dealer and let me know mode of transportation of the particular car to the dealer.
