[Resolved]  Tata Motors — Tata Marcopolo School Bus 32 seater - Problems elevated

To 15th Dec 2013 Customer Care, Grievance Cell, Tata Motors Limited, Mumbai Regarding: Complaining the struggle we have without Tata Marcopolo 32 seater Bus, Informing the inability to solve our problem, Requesting advice for the solution of our problem and Advising Tata Motors to do something in our area. Sir, First of all, I would like to request you to read my part of the story patiently. I want to bring our experience with Tata Motors in our area to your kind knowledge. I want you to do more than solving our problem, i.e. Do something in our area. The Background of our story: 1. Fatehpur is a town situated 70 km from Kanpur and 120 km from Allahabad. 2. We purchased Mahindra 11 seater and Mahindra 17 seater before 2008 and we were satisfied. 3. In April, 2010 we purchased a Tata Magic from Shunty Bhunty, Kanpur 4. In December, 2010 we purchased a Tata Marcopolo 32 seater from Kailash Motors, Kanpur 5. In April, 2012 we purchased an Eicher 42 seater from Kanpur. 6. In July, 2013 we purchased another Tata Marcopolo 32 seater from Vishal Motors, Kanpur. 7. Our school is a growing school in this small town, and may be one of your prospective customers and presently hoping to purchase a bus in two years and in the future every consecutive year. Our Experience with Tata Motors: A. Shunty Bhunty Motors, Kanpur - Tata Magic, April 2010 1. We got our Sale Invoice after one and a half month after much calling and running. * We were not able to use the vehicle in that period. 2. We felt so unfortunate and decided not to purchase any vehicle from Shunty Bhunty, Kanpur. B. Kailash Motors, Kanpur - Tata Marcopolo 32 seater, December 2010 1. We were told the GPS tracker offer is there along with the Tata Marcopolo 32 seater. (Worth Rs.20, 000/-) * Later told that we can’t get the instrument as the offer period ended. * Then they told that the instrument was specially arranged and it has reached their office but as soon as some technician is available they will send to install it. * Still the instrument is not installed. After making many calls and visits, we left the matter. 2. We decided that we will not purchase any more Tata buses. C. Vishal Motors, Kanpur - Tata Marcopolo 32 seater, July 2013 1. Few people from Vishal Motors, Kanpur came and persuaded us to purchase Tata Bus. * We told that we are not thinking of purchasing Tata bus because the mileage of Tata Marcopolo 32 seater is 3.5 km/ltr whereas Eicher 42 seater is 6 km/ltr. * They told that they will forward the complaint and a few days later we got a call telling us to send the bus to Mahi Motors, Fatehpur and the mileage problem will be corrected. 2. We purchased another Tata Marcopolo 32 seater in July 2013. 3. Here again we got our Sale Invoice late by 10 days. * Because of the delay they changed the date of Sale Invoice to get the vehicle registered. D. Mahi Motors, Fatehpur 1. From the day we sent the bus to Mahi Motors, Fatehpur, rather than our problems corrected, they were elevated. * Here is the list of things happened. We Need Your Help!: A. Our Problem As mentioned above still the problems continues. We have to pump daily to start the vehicle and the front tires are getting eroded so fast that all the buttons are worn out. When we talked with other schools who have Tata Buses they say that they go to private service stations. Should we also go to private stations? When Mahindra Service Station has computer wheel alignment instruments in Fatehpur, why can’t the Tata Service Station have? Are we at the mercy of the negligent Tata service station mechanics? With patience, we have suffered these losses and suffering the loss. What should we do? First of all, going to Kanpur is expensive. Second, it’s not possible to go to Kanpur in school days. Third, even if we go, nobody knows which Kanpur Tata Service Station, because everywhere it is the same. We all understand that Tata Vehicles are stronger, then why should we go for other brands? B. Advise Us * Please let us know what we should do to find a solution for our problem. * Please do something in our area so that we can get proper service in Fatehpur, a prospective area for Tata. We have sent mail as mentioned below to Bafna Motors Ratnagiri- Maharashtra. but no one respond to our complaint they are ignore to our complaint

Our company owned bus No MH 08 E 9115 is breakdown at near Chafe Katalwadi bus stop on Nivali - Jaigarh Road and our driver Mr. Salvi is available there.
We are requesting you to please attend to the breakdown and do the repair bus on urgent basis.]

As informed from Bafna Motors they are not attending our call due to issue of Payment is pending
But we have already paid advance payment to Bafna Motors Ratnagiri. because we are sending our buses for maintenance in Bafna Motors frequently . currently Approx Rs.40000/- bills under process and we have paid advance amount Rs.100000/- to Bafna Motors
Here we are requesting you to please look into this matter or else we would be have not purchasing of TATA buses in future.
