Tata Sky — Annual recharge of tata sky south jumbo pack without intimation converted as monthly recharge & amt being debited monthly

I wish to state that in the month os sept'14-oct'14 had once again called up the tata sky service provider/customer executive and confirmed that the south jumbo annual pack is Rs.7500/- and accordingly recharged fully for the amount of Rs.7500/-. This annual south jumbo pack is being re-charged by me every year since I had purchased the tata sky set top box, for the last 5-6 years. And it used to be automatically recharged for the period of another one year. Presently the same was done by paying Rs.7500/- and the recharge period should have to be one year i.e Sep/Oct'14 - Sep/Oct'15. However suddenly a message had been received in the tata sky message box that my annual recharge/subscription has been debited on monthly basis, and my last month for further re-charge should be 30th May 2015. It appeared as a joke, and hence called on the tata sky numbers and requested what had happened, where in the tele executive told me that I had to initially after re-charge should have again called on them and request to consider the re-charge as annual re-charge and only then they would be considering the same. It again appeared as a rude shock, that why a sane individual with normal thinking invest Rs.7500/- to tata sky for monthly debit, rather than for an annual package. Even if the money had been put in a FD account annual interest would have been paid by bankers, and why I should invest for monthly package debit, by paying one time lump sum of Rs.7500/- is still baffalling me, and more queer is the answers being given by the tele executives, who do not been able to under stand the problem of a genuine customer, who had been with tata sky for the last 5-6 years. Even their superiors have been less helpless saying that if I again would make the amount as Rs.7500/- they would consider for an annual request. This has to be taken seriously, since the individual first calls up tata sky to enquire the rate of annual mega jumbo south package, and after paying the amount, has to use his phone and get the call bills paid by the individual to once again remind that it is a request for annual package. what a crude joke. Further, there has been no intimation through SMS or message of tata sky on their set top box, that the procedure has been changed. without the necessary procedures the consumer has been harassed, and the annual package which had to be for a period of one year i.e. upto sep/oct'15 has been purposely curtailed only till 30th may 2015. is that the consumer has to suffer for the lapses of the tata sky tele executives, or what.
