[Resolved] Tata Sky — broadband: cheating customers | |||
Tatasky broadband is cheating their existing customers by charging them a higher amount for renewals than what is mentioned on their website. I had been receiving payment reminders for renewal of my subscription plan: 50mpbs unlimited 6 month package for an amount of rs 7, 500. I did a successful recharge on 4-dec-2019 by paying rs 7.500 online. However, to my surprise, when i checked the tatasky broadband website, i saw that i had been charged rs 1, 128 extra. The price for my 6-month plan is rs 6, 372 (Rs 5, 400 + 18% gst) as per your website and not rs 7, 500. Even a 100mbps plan is priced at rs 7, 009.20 (Rs 5, 940 + 18% gst), a good rs 500 lower than what i had paid. Current subscribers of tatasky broadband are not aware of this change. Tatasky broadband is taking advantage of this situation, and cheating customers to the tune of rs 1, 128 per customer, which is a lot of money. Was this information helpful? | |||

Beware they will never be able to provide the speed you have paid for. In my case I am getting a average 15mbps speed where as I have subscribed for 100mbps speed and also paid for it. At times I even get 1mbps speed which is just 1% of what I am paying for and these shameless Customer Service people just keep on issuing new ticket numbers since last 21days.
