Tata Sky — False charges being charged | |||||
Dear sir, My subscriber id no. [protected] Last month[protected] i got my set top box replaced and this was the second time it was being replaced within 6 months time. before getting it replaced i had complained to tata sky customer care that i should not be charged as this is the second time my set top box is being replaced and the problem from the tata sky end and not from my side. Soon i got a call from a senior executive from tata sky that i wont be charged anything and my set top box will be replaced free of charge, the same day a technician from tata sky came and replaced my set top box and assured me that i wont be charged anything and no charged will be deducted from my a/c. after replacement the next day itself my a/c was deducted by 700 rupees. on calling the technician he told me that it will be reimbursed shortly. i called him 4-5 times till 10 days and got the same false assurances. Now my a/c has been deactivated and on complaining i am getting the reply that i will be charged for replacement of materials. this is so ridiculous and totally and expected and not accepted from a reputed company like tata sky, Now i have been left with no option other than i will be filing a case in the consumer forum and civil suit with the court of law and send it all the regional offices, registered office, head office and corporate office. i will bring the matter to all the public forums so that people come to realise that even a company with a reputed brand name tata can also cheat and act fraudulently Was this information helpful? | |||||
