Tata Sky — Faulty set top box /tata sky customer id [protected] / unethical behaviour!!!

My HD set top box was replaced on the 2nd of Oct 2015 as it had some problem.
I was charged Rs 520/- for the replacement.
Today this newly replaced set top box has again developed a problem as in the hard disk has failed and it will not record or playback.
The technician attended the problem and said that I will have to shell out another Rs.700/- for a new set top box!!
This is absolutely wrong!! Tata sky as a company is vending a sub standard product and expecting customers to keep paying for a faulty product every two months!!

After speaking to a Mr. Hemant Khanna(incharge at their call centre) I have been made aware that there is only a 30 day warranty on your product!!
So Tata sky expects customers to keep shelling out money every 30 days if the product goes kaput!
According to Mr.Khanna, they cannot guarantee any electronic item.I think he has forgotten that he works for a company that provides service using patented electronic media!!!
Fortunately for tata sky and unfortunately for me, we live in a country where such blatant consumer violations and absolutely unethical behavior are the norm!!
I am not an unreasonable man. This box was replaced in Oct 2015(2 months ago) after having worked for about a year or so(not sure of the exact date).
When it was replaced in October, I did not raise any issue as the box has worked for as much as I could reasonably expect any Chinese product to work.
But I have serious issues to raise if I am being expected to pay for a replacement top box barely two months after buying a replacement!!
Finally left with no choice, I have paid Rs.700/-(which will be deducted from my subscription account) and gotten a new set top box fitted.
The least that Tata Sky can do is reimburse the money to my subscription account and change company policy to raise the warranty period for their box to at least 6 months.
