I have the following Tata sky boxes to view TV channels :

Standard [protected] [protected] Secondary Active
Standard [protected] [protected] Secondary Inactive
HDPVR [protected] [protected] Secondary Active
The HD box is within the period of warranty. It does not receive signals for days when it rains. Earlier, signal used to be disturbed during rain only for a few minutes. Gradually it became days. Every technician who visits has a different tale to tell of why signal does not come. For the past few months, the HD box works at will. Sometimes it gets signal, sometimes it doesn't. The visiting technicians said the box is faulty. It needs to be replaced. But not till they have first checked A, B, C or D. After all these checks, when the box still did not work, I insisted that the box be replaced. Box is still within warranty. Now, every time the technician comes, he brings along some other repaired old box. These boxes too don't work - obviously. They are somebody else's rejections - repaired. That is not the meaning of warranty replacements. We suffer. Tata couldn't care less. Was this information helpful? |
