I am a subscriber of TATASKY HD +. The problem is that the reception of the tatasky would just go blank and come back after about 15-20 minutes, I thought that this was common due to weather, but as the problem was persistent even in good weather I complained about the same. A representative from the company came and replaced the set top box and the power supply on the 11th of Dec. 2015. On 15th Dec. 2015 when I put the TV on I was shocked to see that my account had been deactivated and my balance was showing (-)591/-. I was suprised about the same and I called the customer care and learned from them that an amount Rs. 1040/- had been debited to my account, the same being the charges for the set top box and the power supply. As per the agreement of tatsky it is clearly mentioned that the set top box is the property of tatasky. The set top box if defective should be repaired/replaced by the company as I am paying for the services. The person from the company called me to inquire about my complain and when I explained to him about the same, he said that he cannot do anything about the same as the person who came to my house is just an installer of tatasky and not a technician. When I told him that there was a technical problem and hence the same should have been checked before the set top box was changed, he said that he cannot do any thing about it. I told him that I was ready to pay the charges, but that they would have to give me the old set top box and power supply to which he replied that I should not have allowed him to take the old set top box and power supply. When I told him that I was ready to pay the amount if they returned the old set top box and the power supply, he said that he cannot do any thing about it as it was an installer who had attended to the complain. When I told him that they should send authorised and trained personnel to attend to the complains he had nothing to say and said that he could do nothing to help me.
