This is in regards to the Tata Sky connection we have with subscriber Id [protected], in name of Rupinder Sharma. Since last few days we are not getting a few channels(few Hindi movie channels, all the English Movie Channels, few News Channels, few Music channels etc).
We tried contacting the customer care no and the response we got was very weird we were informed that the issue must be either from the set top box or the dish antennae and not from the company's end so to resolve the issue they would send an installation engineer and get the issue resolved however a charge of Rs 170 will imply. When asked that why should we pay for the visit when it is not our fault and how is it possible that we are able to view a few channels and not all due to fault in set top box or dish antennae.There was no satisfactory answer given rather the representative as well as the supervisor was very rude in replying to the queries raised. When asked for a manager the Sr representative/ supervisor transferred the call back to a representative after placing the call on hold for more than 3 mins and then again I had to wait for another Team Leader to come online when this Team Leader came over the phone she disconnected the call without even listening to the concern.
I was also informed by the representative that as the warranty is over so we would have to pay for the visit be it whatever even if it is not our fault.
Is this the type of valued customer service you provide by being rude to the customers and disconnecting the calls without giving a satisfactory resolution to the customer.
My concern is still not resolved and I am not ready to pay for the engineers visit when there is no fault of ours. either get the issue solved or we would switch the DTH subscriber post this month.
