[Resolved]  Tata Sky — monthly subscription pack

Due to the regular issues created by tata sky i have to pen down over here.in feb 2019 my monthly pack was of rs. 495. I had recharge a kids pack for a month and discontinued it after a month ago. Even after 2 days of discontinuation of that pack tata sky increases my monthly pack to rs 505 without and consent email and message on my register number, also they removed lots of channels from my pack without acknowledging me. Till the last month i was paying rs 505 for this pack. All of sudden i got the message of recharge due with rs. 508 instead of 505. When i asked this to the customer care about why they changed my pack and increased the amount without my consent they told me that this is the standard price of the pack you are watching it has been increased by today only, please select some other pack, if you don't want to see this. Who the hell given them rights to change in my package by removing and increasing my monthly charge amount without my consent. It is the strict rule of try that any service provider can't change or modify package without intimating to consumer.

hello forum,

I have received a call from customer support of tata sky few mins ago. Their justification is not et all acceptable. According to them charges of channels has been increased by this month. When I asked them to show the letter where trai has increased the charges they are telling to me follow their website where they listed the charges on their website. the channel price has been fixed by trai before 4 to 5 months ago.While in March month the charges has already increased by tata sky on my existing pack by rs 10 monthly. Till the last month my billing amount was rs 505 per month. How it come to 508 by this month. No charges has been increased by trai last month or this month then how may they increase my charges. And if this will be the case then why it has not been updated over email to consumer via message. In march month also they change my pack without any information and consent. and they are replying over that they cant message each and individual customer about. Then while collecting the payment or any promotional activity how they manage to message each and individual customer on monthly basis. reminders of due payments and promotional messages regularly ping me over my email. According to the representative it's a management call. But being a service provider they cant do any modification in consumer services without his consent and permission. As I'm paying for the services I want and no body has right to trespasses in my account to change any information. Forum it's my keen request to you please look after this case, as if I''ll not get any proper support from tata sky, I'll take them in consumer court.

Dear Tata Sky,

Few channels are free to air by Trai as DD pack but why are you taking networking fees for these channels too. These are compulsory channels to show. Same with the your complimentary FTA pack, these are coming with ZERO air fee, but still you guys are adding networking fees against these channels.
Secondly I have a HD connection on my TV accordingly I selected the HD channels with added HD fee then why the networking fee is added for these channels also. Please explain.

Even the prizes on Tata sky website are differ from the prizes displayed over Trai site. for eg. & Pictures HD cost according to trai is rs 19 while on Tata sky it is displayed as 22.42. Why the difference been so far.HD access fee is already added in a channel by trai. Tata sky increased the channel price and in addition they are taking networking fee too with the subscription against total channel(Free air &paid in both cases). Why the such differences are there.
