[Resolved] Tata Sky — no resolution from the tatasky yet - issue raised 20 june 2018 | |||
The request for correcting the error was put up on 20JUNE2018(Wednesday). The error on the TV shows - Error 1/2, i.e., Please remove and place the tatasky card correctly - something like that. Hence called the customer care and registered a repair request. The guy came on 23JUNE2018(Saturday) - I believe his name is Satish, he checked and said I am not sure whether the problem is with the card or the box, so he have to take both to the tatasky store which is located in Miyapur, he said he will check and bring the resolved box/card by the same evening. He didn't called or returned. When I tried to reach him he said he will check and call in 5/10mins on Saturday evening. He didn't called. I waited. He didn't called or came on Sunday, Monday or even Tuesday. They didn't even bother to call and update on the status. I called again on Tuesday 26JUNE2018 to check the status - the guy said sir the boy(another guy - who doesn't know what the problem was) will come tomorrow(27JUNE2018) and fix it. This was after my repeated follow-ups - I was getting pissed. The boy by name Ramprasad came and brought the new box with him - he connected the box to the TV and now the TV shows different issue i.e., the resolution isn't supported. Ramprasad says sir we need AVI cable to fix this resolution issue. There was no resolution issue before why did it came now. He said it is US TV sir so we need to do some settings. I mentioned to him that in the beginning(i.e., sometime in January or February-2018) when I was taking tatasky connection I checked with them clearly that this is a US tv and do they need anything other box or something to make sure the resolution is corrected. They mentioned we have HD box sir that will take care of everything. Then why is the issue of resolution came now??? Is the box being used anything different or isn't the HD box I asked??? Ramprasad said it is HD box sir but we need the AVI cable to correct the resolution issue. I wasn't convinced, however, I asked if he has one - he said he doesn't and neither did I. I checked at my end I haven't found. I asked Ramprasad to bring one from your tatasky office to fix the issue - he said he will bring it the next day same time i.e., 28JUNE2018 to resolve the issue completely but haven't came till date. It has been close to 2weeks and the issue haven't got resolved. This has been very worst customer care that I have come across. During this time I had to leave the office and come to support these Tatasky guys whenever they were coming home to fix it - which was all worthless. I do not want to continue with Tatasky and I need a refund against the installation charges of 2000 rupees and the refund for the past 2 weeks(that I have already paid) immediately.
