[Resolved]  Tata Sky — overcharging by tata sky for working receiver by replacing same

This has reference to our tata sky connection no. [protected] in my name.

I had subscribed to new package of english dhamaal from 18th july and earlier we had super saver and all the channels were streamed without problem. But from 18th july, we are not able to get new channels as per new package and the logic and answer given by technician is that receiver has a problem and we need to replace. I do not understand how can receiver is customer's problem when we were able to see all the channels in earlier package and suddenly for new package tata sky says that your receiver is not working. This shows that along with change of package tata sky has made it a business to change receiver and additional overcharge for replacement earning profits on the cost of customers when the issue is with streaming software as if receiver had problems we should not be able to watch all earlier channels and packages.

This clearly shows tata sky is overcharging by misrepresentating the issues and putting the cost in customer account so that company keep earning by overcharging with their existing customers. We are customers of tata sky since 11 years and told that we are premium customer, if we are treated like this how other customers must have been treated.

This needs to be taken and resolved by senior management asap and all charges debited to our account should be reversed and credited back.

I expect that tata sky management will understand customers plight and give quality customer service rather then all their telephone executives or managers and technicians telling we can not do anything this is as per policy.

We were able to watch our earlier Super Saver package without any interruption since last many years but when we opted for new package ENGLISH DHAMAAL, we were not able to watch all new channels subscribed in the package and then TATA SKY sent technician and he came and told that your receiver is having a issue and we need to replace it for Rs 800 charges. We are unable to understand if streaming of channels is a issue in your software how can receiver be having problem when we were able to watch everything earlier and what is customer fault as it is TATA SKY problem of sotware in streaming other channels. Why a customer should be charged Rs 800 which TATA SKY debited without taking our consent in our account and stopped our HD access on 20th July 2018. This is forcefully charging the customer without any service which leads to overcharging and cheating by the DTH operator. Please credit the same amount of Rs 800 to our account which is debited to our account as it should not have been charged. Sanjay Sisodia

The amount of Rs 800/- debited against changing receiver is yet not credited to my account which was debited to my account by TATA SKY on 21st July 2018. I would request to reverse the same and credit to my account .

My existing plan of Rs.280/ with HD pack of Rs.60/ was valid up to 22/07/18.Today I recharged Rs.280/ but validity is up to 15/08/18 How it is ? Validity should up to 21/08/18 My plan with HD pack is Rs.280/ (220+60)
