Tata Sky — Pathetic and rude customer care | |||
I called Tata Sky customer care on the 11th July on [protected] at 7:10 pm. The automated message first said my wait time would be 4 minutes, after which it said it's be 8 minutes, and then it became 10 minutes. I was made to wait more than 26 minutes, after which a lady named Sharmila picked up the phone. When I said that it was very bad customer service to make people wait for so long, she said "If we are busy customers have to wait" without even a trace or word of apology for making me wait so long. When i asked her who i could escalate this to, she refused to give any names. She could not speak properly, and i was really angry, and she kept saying "go to help" which, with her pathetic accent, sounded as if she was saying "go to hell". They assume that we have net access at all times. I have been a Tata Sky Customer for more than 10 years and have two connections (one customer ID is [protected]), but i was really frustrated and angry that Tata Sky has such poor service and employs such uncouth and mannerless people. She disconnected the call even before I could tell her what may complaint was and I had no energy left to wait another 30 minutes again. Is Tata Sky hand-in-glove with the mobile operators to increase our call times, or generally become to terrible over the years? For a company that proudly states that Mr Harit Nagpal says "‘Our focus is service, service and service", it is the biggest joke to have such horrid service!!! Shame on you, Tata Sky. Also, they send an SMS stating that they have received a callback option selection, but never actually call back, Was this information helpful? | |||
