Dear Sir

I am T RAJESHWAR RAO, retired senior Government official and aged 69 years of age I have been subject to a lot of hardships by your staff. I would like to inform you point wise one by one.
I had first taken Tata Sky connection in Mumbai in the year 2004 which I continued for some time and because of your not getting along and other reasons I switched over to some other service provider..
Since I used to travel Abroad frequently and moreover due to returning back to India after long periods I again took 2 connections of Tata Sky TV connection as my wife wanted to watch the channels she liked I had got 2 HD Set Top boxes for separate viewing by us. Within a few months both o[censored]s had to go Sydney where our daughter was settled. Within a month we went and I came back alone to Mumbai. I requested one lady by name Ms. Neelam who sent a technician and I got my connection. After I got my Tata Sky connection that lady Ms. Neelam phoned me and asked whether I still had 2 and connections and when I said that since the past more than 1 1/2 years I was having only connection, she told me that during that period the earlier technicians showed as 2 connections and I was paying tor 2 set top boxes.I thanked her for her king gesture which is very rare to find these days.
Until I was in Mumbai I was paying only for the primary connection, on shifting to Hyderabad on 30 July 2022I requested for Tata Play and I was given the connection and I paid Rs.671/- as monthly rental, after two days the connection was deactivated and I was not able to understand the reason for the deactivation and nobody would be available for solving my problem. With a great difficulty I contacted the lady in Mumbai and she told me that instead of bringing my primary set top box I had got my connection in my secondary box and so my account was showing as 2 accounts. Moreover, I was charged Rs. 400/- towards relocation charges for two set top boxes and I was denied a receipt for the charge when I was having on one box with me in Hyderabad and the other one is still in Mumbai. After all the struggles I was told to again pay Rs. 502/-as monthly charges and I had to pay.
After going through all these formalities I am not getting all the channels in Telegu (HD) as my set top box is HD and moreover same cinemas as coming in two channels and despite so many requests nobody seems to bother. Please bear in mind that we are paying the money that we get as pension.
I want to know from you whether at any point make surprise checks how your staff are treating the customers, whether they have proper knowledge of the rules etc., and whether I can be charged for 2 set top boxes just because I have 2 accounts and the technician knows that he has checked only one connection.
I would like to inform you that I have the highest regard for the owner of Tata Play and I am sure he will not tolerate once he comes to know what is happening under his nose.
I have ultimately decided to bring to your notice and in case it is possible for you to send a representative I shall be obliged to bring all the facts before him.
In case even this appeal does not work I shall be constrained to go to Consumer Forum or cunsumer court.
I stop here waiting for a proper reply from you.
