[Resolved] Tata Sky — Poor Service | |||
Dear Sir, I am Biman Malakar ( Id [protected] ) having a Tatasky with recording facility( PVR), would like to inform you that since 18th of May 2021, I was unable to watch TV programs transmitted by Tatasky . On 18th morning I realized that the remote is not working and the red light is not glowing steadily and instead continuously blinking. I immediately made a complaint to the local service provider and he suggested that I should contact Tatasky helpline. I immediately called the helpline and they promptly told me that the local service provider is being instructed to contact you immediately. Thankfully the local service provider from Barrackpore ( Near Kolkata) contacted us and expressed their inability to provide spare remote as they do not have any. I fail to understand that how a spare remote is not available with service provider who are a big established service provider covering a huge area, causing difficulties to the customers. However I continued to contact Tata sky helpline almost daily for any update but failed to have any. Instead I continuously received false assurances from Helpline as well as from Barrackpore service provider. Ultimately, on 2nd June, on a desperate attempt, I managed to purchase one genuine tatasky remote paying a premium price so that my family could enjoy T.V program once again. My humble quarry to you is 1) In Spite of covid and lockdown, don't you think it is a matter of sear negligence and in-competence on the part of reputed concern like Tata sky not to provide a remote even after 15 days . 2) Why should I be penalised to pay for these 15days when I could not enjoy program for no fault of mine?
