Tata Sky — Regarding levy of penalty | |||||
I was asked to tatasky for installation of New Set-up Box. But on 15.03.2016, Maintenance Engineer installed set-up Box with-out informing me any detail. In evening, when we start TV, sound is not coming from it. We show the Set-up box and knew that it is not working properly and it is too old. Further, I complaint on Tatasky customer care they advised me to change this set-box with HD Set-up box at a cost of Rs. 990/- only. Accordingly, set-up box has been changed on 16.03.2016. On 16.03.2016, Tatasky charged me as below: (i) Charged Rs. 520/- for 1st Set-up Box which was installed in my house for some hour. That is also old and not working properly. (ii) Charged Rs. 990/- for 2nd new Set-up Box. when i talk to Tatasky Customer Care, they stated that "If we changed Tatasky Set-up box 4 times in a day, then we have charged 4 times." In this regard, it is to state that Tatasky should not charged of Rs. 520/-against the 1st Set-up box as this is not working, it is old and it is installed without informing me the status of this set-up box and warrantee thereof. it is requested please take necessary action in the matter so that consumer can not face Was this information helpful? | |||||

Further, I complaint on Tatasky customer they advised me to change this set-box with HD Set-up box.
And accordingly, set-up box changed.
But Tatasky charged me for both set-up box. Your Deptt charged Rs. 550/- approx for 1st set-up box, which was installed for 5-6 hours.
Please take necessary action in the matter and return the amount of Rs. 550/- in mu account
