[Resolved] Tata Sky — re:irrational behaviour and false report for rejecting connection. | |||
Dear sir/madam, With reference to tatasky wo no# 172l6k4w, i am extremely disappointed by your service. A simple installation has taken almost a week. Today is the 5th day when i hv been following up the booking in the name of r k singh.in the first visit, seeing the house from outside only, the technician said he needs a ladder to fix the connection and wud be back with the ladder. Later when he never turned up i inquired. I was told that my order has been cancelled and a report has been raised stating "the installation site is risky". I contacted back again and insisted for the installation considering the other sides of the rooftop for placement. All this went on until yesterday evening when the technician came for the 2nd time with the dish entina and box and again surveyed the place. He then informed that there was no issue of ladder or placement and it cud easily be installed. But since he has not got the wire so, he will come on the 21st morning by 9am and wud install the same first thing in the morning. We told him that it shud not get further delayed since we are available only till 11 am at home. He assured the connection wud positively be installed by 9 am. Once again today no body turned up, now, we are told the technician is on leave and therefore it will be installed tomm. I am amazed on this kind of mishandling of the customer account. Fortunately my husband mr. R. K. Singh also happens to be a tata employee and therefore we preferred a tatasky connection over other dth connections. We are very well aware with the tata group policies for their employees & their families, and above all their customers. Tata group concerns are very particular about their ethics and values. How cum such an irresponsible attitude is catered here. Now, with the kind of mishandling and inconvenience caused by your staff, i am forced to withdraw my connection request and would not be interested anymore. Verified Support Aug 22, 2018 Tata Sky Customer Care's response Hi, we see that a technician visit is scheduled for today -i.e. 22/08/2018 between 12:00 PM-12:30 PM. You will soon hear from our technician.
