My experience to the recent relocation of Tata Sky is as horrible as one messed up thing where you get really complicated and fierced. They charged me 1550/- including one month rental which is also equivalent to purchasing a new Tata Sky connection with one month free pack to all channels.

Beginnning with the removal of dish from the source point, they charge INR 200/- to remove the dish; which if you find it hard to carry with (obviously there is no bag in market to fit that thing in) you'll leave it as it is. However I carried set-up box with card in it for sure. Now, when I called the Customer care, they raised a ticket to have the connection done at destination point. For that they charged me INR 300/-. And the dish, of course costs INR 400/- since I didn't carry it. Later, the wire/cable charges were INR 300/- separately. Finally the rental - one dhamaal mix pack+one english movie pack+HD channels pack costs INR 550/-.

Apologies to go in detail and had you read all this. This is one of the biggest scams going on around since you can't even create competition by saying "I want to port to another service provider". They know your choices and hence distributed channels into packages where you abide by them like a disciplined hapless toddler.

I refuse to pay for relocation charges and request you to help get me a waiver of 1000/- rupees.

I have logged a complaint as representative from Tata sky charged me relocation charge of Rs. 300 cash and again got deducted from my account also.Representative Arjun from Agra also replaced the device costing Rs.200/- saying that this will not work. Though I think it's in good condition. Total amount charged is Rs. 800/- I logged a complaint with complaint no. 1888HLDA and also asked for immediate action but since two days nothing has been worked out. It's really annoying. If issue is not resolved I will be forwarding the issue to Senior officials.
