Tata Sky — Rs.350/- being charged for replacement of set top box on the 19th day ,with in one month. | |||
My customer ID -[protected].set top box was not working properly so I complained on the customer care on 15-5-15.A Tata Sky technician came and saw that the set top box was not working properly so he did master setting and said now set top box will work properly.as the set top box was not working properly I again lodged complain on customer care.the same technician came and changed the set top box on 17-5-15, the problem persisted.In the mean time I renewed my yearly subscription with Rs.7500/- on 1-6-15.As the set top box was not working and we were not able to view any programme, I complained on the customer care on 6-6-15, I got the message the technician will be visiting in the evening.I have the proof of the message send to me.But nobody turned up.On repeated complaining another technician from Tata Sky came on 17-6-15 and when he could not resolve the problem he changed the set top box and said I will be charged Rs.350/- for the set top box.I called up the customer care and told why I should be charged for no fault of mine, then the customer care representative said now you are not being charged, when it will be charged the I should complain then the charges will be withdrawn.when I received the message that I have to pay 350/- for the set top box, then I complained in the customer care then the said their representative will be calling me to resolve the problem.Today Your representative called me and told me that since the set top box was out of guaranty period as it was changed on 17-5-15 and now it is again changed on 17-6-15 more than one month so I have to pay for the set top box.I said I had called up on 6-6-15 and I got the appointed time also but your representative did not turn up so it was not my fault.on complaining again technician came on 17-6-15 and changed the set top box .I had complained with in one month.then she told that I should complain and show the proof then I won't be charged and I need not pay Rs.350/-.so I am lodging this complain.
