[Resolved] Tata Sky — Sanctioned Refund not received with no follow up | |||
I am a Tata Sky customer for many years and use their services for my Guesthouse. My Subscriber ID [protected] under the name MCHELLE Farnadies On 15th October 2021 while using the app on my phone to make a recharge, I mistakenly chose a wrong pack costing Rs 21, 588/- the money was deducted for the same . On the next day, 16th October when I realised I called and cancelled the pack and requested for a refund. I was promised the refund within 7 days by the customer care executive. I Got an SMS with Cancellation code: 693620. I was told to add 50 RS. into the account to make the refund possible. Which I did. 7 days later on the 24th of October 2021, I called again because the refund had not yet come through. The person told me that he is registering the complaint again and that I will get a call back before the 26th October. I did not receive any call back. So called again on the 26th and was told that my first complaint (16th Oct) was not registered and that only the complaint made on 24th was registered. I refused to believe this and forced the person to check their records, only then was it disclosed that my first complaint had been closed from their end without resolution. I was also told that since I am now complaining after a period of 7days it is now a complicated matter to get the refund. Again I was promised a call back before the 31st Oct and that my issue would be resolved by then. Today on the 1st of Nov I called again as there was no call back and now again I am promised a call back but without a specific date or time. This experience has been highly unprofessional and has caused me to reconsider TATA SKY as a service. I would like them to take this matter very seriously and refund the money promised to me as soon as possible. Was this information helpful? | |||
