[Resolved] Tata Sky — service complaint on recharge | |
Rude customer care executives and pathetic services My tata sky id is subscriber id: [protected] and i am a privileged customer of tata sky There was a problem in my set top and registered a complaint. On arrival, the technician informed that the connector switch installed by previous technician is of higher capacity (10 connector switch) instead 2 connector switch and has duped me with higher charges. He then proceeded to replace the 10 connector switch with 2 connector switch and took away the 10 connector switch with him. I asked about the difference in pricing between these two switches and technician requested customer care, which i promptly did. But difference in charges were never credited to my account. The technician checked the set top box and informed it needs to be replaced. He came next day and replaced the new set top box and informed that the set top charges will be debited to my account. Again next day morning at 8.05 am i received a sms saying rs 700 is debited to my account and tata sky services were immediately disconnected. Pl note the following: 1. Tata sky did not give any time to make payment for the replaced set top box. 2. Tata sky did not notify that the services will be disconnected if the payment is not made within certain time i. E. Next 24 hours. 3.. I had a positive balance rs 500/-, in my account, which turned into negative balance due to debit of rs 700 for the set top box. 4. Tata sky cannot differentiate between a service default due non payment of dues and "repair n replacement charges". Any fool will know (Except tata sky) that huge debit of repair n maintenance charge on a normal service account will result in a negative balance. Nor do they give any notification or warning for disconnecting the services. 5. Tata sky has a reputation for arrogance, which is displayed by their call centre executives. My pleas to activate the services to make payment fell on deaf ears. Nor they want to understand and define on what constitutes a "default" in payment to "disconnect" the services. 6. I have called and asked to speak to a senior executive and was made to hold for 45 minutes. Then i was told that a senior executive (Whose salary my business pays), was very busy and unavailable! Tata sky sr. Executives live on high pedestal and they are too busy to listen their customers, who pay their business. Unbelievable! 7. Inspite of being previleged customer for a long period and having faultless record in paying their dues, this is the way they treat the customer Tata sky has become too arrogant. I am forced to change to another service provider due to insensitiveness to customers by sr. Executives of tata sky. Even if my tv connection does not work, at least i don't have to deal with the arrogance of tata sky call centre executives who really don't care about me or you (We, who pays his/her salaries).
